Il porridge!!!!!! Ma perchè non ci ho pensato prima?
Mi sto scervellando per cercare alternative per i miei piccoli diavoli che mangerebbero solo biscotti a colazione. Il mio obiettivo principale di vita adesso è equilibrare l'assunzione di cereali. Perchè, si sa, è facile "abusare" di grano a scapito di riso, orzo, miglio, mais, segale, avena. Il grano è ovunque ed è buono, c'è poco da fare: pasta, pane, torte, biscotti, grissini... è veramente dappertutto ma non è sicuramente il miglior cereale.
Ed ecco Paola che m'illumina con l'idea del porridge, tipico piatto nordico vecchio di migliaia d'anni: fiocchi di avena cotti nel latte - di riso - o acqua per pochi minuti anche insieme all' uvetta. Questo tipico piatto nordico scalda e da molta energia. Ho letto su wikipedia che è stato trovato un reperto in Svezia di un uomo risalente ad almeno 5000 anni fa. Aveva in pancia il porridge. No è vero, non è uno scherzo!
Quasi tutte le mattine io e Vico (il piccolo) mangiamo il porridge con latte di riso e uvetta e ci piace tantissimo! Non lo cuocio molto, lo lascio leggermente al dente e lo mangiamo bollente.

No i miei figli fanno mooooolti capricci, infatti mi fanno un po' impazzire. Ma non per il vegan, anzi, è che i bimbi hanno gusti veramente particolari ...
E mentre dico questa frase mi rendo conto dell'errore: è sbagliato cercare di accontentarli sempre, è giusto che siano anche loro a sforzarsi a mangiare di tutto anche perchè non posso mangiare sempre le stesse cose... ma qui si apre un abisso :)
Riguardo le ricette, se attivi il 'Google translator' riesci a capire almeno gli ingredienti.:-) Io comunque spesso uso fiocchi '5 cereali' come base, poi come liquido metá acqua - metá riso di latte opp. d'avena opp. di soia vanigliato (cosí viene piú saporito), frutta di stagione, e semi di qualsiai genere, per la Piccola piuttosto macinati (di lino, di sesamo, di zucca, di girasole, fiocchi di cocco etc.). Pensa che la ricetta piú letta sul mio blog nell'anno scorso: "porridge" di miglio con lamponi e semi di papavero.:-))
